The schedule for South Dakota high school football championship games in Vermillion has been tweaked this year, thanks to the University of South Dakota football team playing an away game that weekend.
In the past, with USD playing at home, there was room for only one prep game at the DakotaDome on Saturday. That meant three games had to be played on Thursday and three games on Friday, including two morning games.
This year two games will be played on both Friday and Saturday, meaning Thursday will be the only day with three games and a morning game.
