There have been several power outages in and around Yankton in the past few weeks. The latest was Saturday morning when an outage affected about twenty eight hundred people in central and eastern parts of the community.

During the Saturday outage calls to the Northwestern call center went unanswered for up to twenty five minutes. Glanzer says they want to get to all those that call in…..

The Saturday outage was traced to a fault in a one hundred fifteen kilovolt line leading to a new substation east of Yankton.
