The Federal Communications Commission has passed new rules that seek to put some regulations on the internet.

The so called “net neutrality” is supposed to guarantee consumers and businesses equal access to the internet.

Greg Dean with the South Dakota Telecommunications Association says there could be some positives in there for people in the state…

All sides in the internet debate expect the rules to be tied up in court for some time.
