The City of Yankton wrapped up a good year in sales tax collections.

The city collected just under thirteen million dollars in sales taxes for the year.
Leon says its hard to say what the increase will mean to their budget bottom line….
Leon says it is also hard to know what the sales tax trends will be…..
Cities across the state saw mixed results from last year with Brookings coming in with a sixteen point five percent increase while Aberdeen had just under a four percent increase.
