The push for a constitutional amendment to allow a casino in Yankton begins this week in the South Dakota legislature.
Representative Jean Hunhoff says a resolution has been circulating, gathering sponsors…..

Hunhoff says they have been working on an information campaign…..

Representative Mike Stevens of Yankton will not be a sponsor on the resolution……

Stevens does say there would be economic benefits with a casino….

Supporters will ask legislators to pass a constitutional amendment, which would then go on the November ballot.
