Delegates from the National Pork Producers Council and the National Pork Board will gather in Orlando, Florida this week for the National Pork Forum. It is at the pork forum where resolutions are voted upon and decided if they become part of the pork producers’ policies. Pat McGonegle is the Executive Director of the Iowa Pork Producers Association. He tells of the issues most likely to be discussed at this year’s pork forum.
McGonegle says Iowa pork delegates are summitting two resolutions to be considered. One of which originated at Sioux County in northwest Iowa.
During the National Pork Forum, McGonegle says pork voting delegates will elect new national officers.
