During the National Pork Industry Forum, the Pork Checkoff will celebrate ten years of the ‘’We Care program”. National Pork Board President Terry O’Neel, a Nebraska pork producer will talk about that during his Presidential address.

We Care began as a framework for the Pork Checkoff’s Pork Quality Assurance program. Ethical principles dealing with animal health, animal care, worker health, and the environment are part of We Care. O’Neel says this program is based on continual improvement.

The National Pork Forum gets underway Wednesday in Kansas City.
