An international popcorn company based in northwest Iowa is celebrating one-hundred years as a family-owned business by giving cash grants to people or organizations who bring joy to others through good deeds. Tracy Boever  is spokeswoman for Jolly Time Popcorn in Sioux City which is taking nominations over the next month.


To nominate someone, there’s a short form to fill out at the company website, JollyTime-dot-com.


Nominations have to be in by June 15th. The fifth-generation company sells its popcorn in all 50 states and 40 foreign countries. Jolly Time has sold nearly three-billion pounds of popcorn since its founding in Sioux City in 1914.
