Political Science Professor: Americans Remain Sharply Divided Over Kavanaugh

Americans remain sharply divided in the wake of the hearings and confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. University of Nebraska – Omaha Political Science Professor Paul Landow says there are so many factors coming into play right now he doesn’t see the tension resolving anytime soon.

Landau says until the extremism that prevails today is resolved, it will be difficult to re-establish civility in solving the country’s problems.  Landow says it appears the Democrats now have a good chance at winning back the House of Representatives in the November election.

Landau says there are extremes on both sides of the aisle that need to be toned down a bit.  He says politicians have to work through this deep disagreement and work toward some form a civility because the country can’t go on like this forever.
