The Public Lands Council and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association are not happy with the way the Obama administration has handled the Dakota Access Pipeline protests in North Dakota. PLC Executive Director Ethan Lane says the administration is sitting back and letting the unrest go unchecked even though Energy Transfer Partners went through all the proper regulatory steps.

Lane says another major concern is that there’s been a lot of damage to private property in North Dakota tied to the protesters and also dead and mutilated cattle.

He says it’s time for the federal government to take charge and take care of the problems that they created.

Lane says the administration has been negligent and law and order needs to be restored.
