Following a couple of public input meetings, state engineers are now working on the details of a new bridge over the Missouri River on Highway 44.
Department of Transportation Engineer Steve Gramm says they are pulling a lot of information together…..

Gramm says the new bridge will be built very close to the existing one…..

Gramm says while the planning is underway, the bridge has not yet been included in the official “State Transportation Improvement Plan”……..

The Platte – Winner bridge was built over the river in the mid 1960s.
