Pipeline Bill Passage Uncertain In Senate

It now appears that members of the US Senate and House will vote on the Keystone XL pipeline next week.

That came about as Senate democrats push to help Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieau (lan-drew) in her run-off election.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says it was a quick change of course…

Thune says there is no guarantee that enough votes can be rounded up…

Thune says he hopes the President also changes his mind…

The President, at a news conference in Asia, said he had not changed his opinion of the project, and would likely veto the bill, if it passes.
