Petroleum Group Wants RFS Repealed

The American Petroleum Institute is unhappy with the delay this week by EPA on issuing 2014 renewable fuel standard volume obligations. API’s Bob Greco says EPA should have had the volumes out much earlier, that this is just proof the RFS needs to be repealed or drastically changed.
Greco says there is bi partisan backing in Congress for eliminating or revising the R-F-S and it’s time for them to take action.
He says there are several organizations that don’t want the R-F-S to continue as is.
Greco says API will work with both the Lame Duck and new Congress to try and get the mandate eliminated or revised.
