Petroleum Group Wants RFS Decision Soon

The American Petroleum Institute like the ethanol industry is anxiously awaiting EPA’s decision on the 2014 volume requirements under the Renewable Fuel Standard. API’s Director of Downstream Operations Bob Greco says EPA needs to get moving and get their ruling out.
Greco says his group is not against ethanol but opposes having mandates because they feel that’s a flawed policy that needs reworking.
Greco says it’s important for EPA to get their volume levels out because as elections approach the chances for legislative fixes are dim.
