Running back Adrian Peterson told ESPN that he expects to remain a Viking, but has pondered other possibilities.
The 31-year-old is awaiting a decision by Minnesota on whether the Vikings will pick up a club option for 2017 which could be worth near $18 million dollars.
The team has until March 9 to make the decision.
Peterson indicated that if he did become a free agent, among the teams he had some interest in were the Giants, Bucs and Texans.
