Peterson Case To Court

Peterson Case To Court

Adrian Peterson remains in NFL limbo and his union’s latest attempt to restore his playing status will take place in federal court.

Attorneys for the NFL Players Association are scheduled to argue Friday for the Minnesota Vikings running back’s reinstatement from a suspension levied by the league under its personal conduct policy. The punishment, stemming from the child abuse case involving Peterson, has sparked another divide between the NFL and the NFLPA over the player discipline process.

When Peterson’s appeal was denied in December by an arbitrator appointed by the league, the union sued to have the decision overturned.
