People Can Freeze and Unfreeze Credit Info at No Cost

A new rule now allows people to “freeze” or “unfreeze” their credit information file at no cost, to prevent anyone who’s stolen their personal information from using it to apply for credit in their name. Minnesota Commerce Department spokesman Ross Corson suggests Minnesotans also consider freezing their children’s credit files until they reach legal age
