The PDR Disabled Youth Deer Hunt is looking for disabled adolescents to attend a free whitetail deer hunt. Dean Rasmussen is the founder of PDR Disabled Deer Hunt. He says he got the idea after his grandson passed away from Spinal meningitis
Rasmussen says during the Deer Hunt, the kids are the stars of the whole program
As part of the program, the kids go on a “true South Dakota Deer hunt,” which includes cook offs, target shootings, and ground level deer blinds, where the kids are assisted by a guardian to take in a Deer.
Rasmussen says all kids want a little excitement
The Deer hunt takes place in mid-September in Clark, SD. Rasmussen says they are always looking for kids to partake in the experience. Visit pdryouthhunt.com for more details.
