The federal government has paid for school meals for the last two years as part of the pandemic response.
Bietz says they are still working through the ESSER, or “Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief’ funds…..

Bietz says they will have to make budget and staff adjustments when those funds run out…..

Bietz says they are optimistic that continued enrollment increases will help them dial back on the use of property tax opt out dollars.
