While the Tri-Valley School District northwest of Sioux Falls has approved the use of armed sentinels in their building, another district south west of Sioux Falls is not moving in that direction.

The legislature authorized the use of armed sentinels three years ago. Tri-Valley was the first district to adopt that policy.
