South Dakota Corn Growers gather in Sioux Falls at the convention center tomorrow for their annual meeting. Panel discussions take center stage during the educational presentations. Corn Grower’s Executive Director Lisa Richardson says the late afternoon group will look at how corn customers view sustainable agriculture and how important a role that will play now and in the future.
Richardson says another panel will talk about environmental concerns and nutrient management. She says EPA’s Ag Liason Sarah Bittleman will be part of that discussion.
Richardson says the early afternoon panel will talk about the idea of tying in conservation compliance with crop insurance payments.
The meeting wraps up with the evening banquet and program starting at 6:30 p.m. For more information go to sdcorn.org or call 605—334—0100.
