The outcome of the Iowa Caucus could have a major impact on the future of the Renewable Fuels Standard.  A Washington Post report indicates that if Republican Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz wins the Iowa Caucus and eventually the Presidency it could mean the end of the RFS.  Iowa Renewable Fuels Association Policy Director Grant  Menke says Ted Cruz is the only Presidential candidate that opposes the program.

However, he says if GOP front runner Donald Trump were to win the Iowa Caucus and the White House that would be positive for the Renewable Fuel Standard.

Menke says all of the other Presidential candidates both Republican and Democrat support the RFS.
