The Yankton School Board approved a public vote on a property tax opt out for February 11th. Superintendent Wayne Kindle says they continue to work on the education piece…
The opt out would be for one point eight five million dollars a year for four years. Kindle says they based that figure on anticipated state aid….
Kindle says they will work with local legislators on finding some type of state aid this year….
Governor Kristi Noem proposed no increase in basic state aid for next year.
