Opponents to the possible expansion of confined hog feeding units will be meeting in Mission Hill tonight.
The Yankton County Planning Commission early Wednesday morning approved seven conditional use permits for hog facilities that could each house up to twenty-four hundred head.

Daniel Grant, who lives north of Mission Hill, says their group, “Citizens Fighting for Quality of Life” are concerned about the proposed barns…..

Grant says it will impact more than their local area…..

The group will meet at 7PM tonight, (Wednesday) at Vangen Lutheran Church in Mission Hill.
