The Operating Committee’s budget recommendation includes $ 9.7 million for research, $ 10.4 million for consumer information, $7.7 million for foreign marketing and education, $ 1.7 million for industry information and $ 1.5 million for producer communication programs. Gilbert says they’re also funding a study that shows the effect of beef on the climate.
