An open house is scheduled for a new swine finishing operation near Scotland, South Dakota on Thursday. Bon Homme County swine producer Dave Guthmiller is opening his doors to the public and giving them the opportunity to see first-hand his state of the art facility.
Guthmiller says they encourage attendance at the open house to help demystify modern pork production.
The open house runs from 5pm to 7pm with a meal served by the South Dakota Pork Producers Council.
