Open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act  is half of what it was a year ago.

Enroll Nebraska coordinator Eric Savaiano says 84-thousand Nebraskans signed up last year.

He says there is help available across the state, for those who need it.

Savaiano says those new to the process need to have proof of residency and estimated income for next year.

Savaiano says Medica offers several different plans in Nebraska, so it’s important to compare.

Open enrollment ends December 15th.
