Parents of students in the Vermillion School District were alerted yesterday to a possible “situation.”
Superintendent Dr. Mark Froke………

Froke didn’t want to say what the nature of the threats were. He says the district followed their procedures for that type of situation………

Froke says they did use their notification system….

Froke says they did not go into lockdown at any of their buildings. He says one student was involved in the alleged threat, and he was “under supervision.”

Froke says they will do a follow up to see if any of their procedures need to be updated.
