One person was killed and another person injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning north of Yankton.
A 2008 Dodge Charger was eastbound on 300th Avenue when it went into the north ditch and rolled several times.
Both occupants were transferred to a Yankton hospital. One male, age 35, died as a result of his injuries. The other occupant, a male, 30 sustained serious non-life threatening injuries.
Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate. Other agencies on scene were Yankton County Sheriff’s Office, Yankton City Police Department, Yankton Fire Department, Yankton Ambulance and Lesterville Fire Department.
