A St. Cloud State University survey shows one-in-four students worry about having enough money to eat. To help fight against student hunger on campus, SCSU has created a Students in Poverty Work Group. Sheila Moriarty is one of the staff leaders for the program and says students use a tool called “Bridges to Benefits.”
Moriarty says the site also connects students with the paperwork they need as well as local contacts to talk to.
