One Dead in Cedar County Crash

A two vehicle accident south of Yankton claimed one life.
The Cedar County Sheriffs Office says 21 year old Elizabeth Soisouvanh was killed when her car, westbound on Highway 84 failed to stop at the Highway 81 intersection, about nine miles west of Hartington.
Her car was hit by a semi driven by 52 year old Loren Beitelspacher of Aberdeen. Soisouvanh, of Waldron Arkansas, was declared dead at the scene. Beitelspacher was taken to Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton to be treated for his injuries.
The accident happened shortly after 7PM Wednesday night.
Along with the Sheriffs office, other responders included Crofton Fire and EMS, Cedar Knox Public Power and the Nebraska Department of Roads.
