The Cedar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an ATV accident that killed a six year old boy.
In a release, the office says they were called to a farm northwest of Hartington shortly before 11 AM Saturday where an ATV had gone over an embankment and flipped on top of the occupant.
The boy, identified by the Wintz Funeral Home as Porter Noecker, was taken to Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton where he died.
The Sheriff’s Office along with Hartington Fire and Ambulance responded to the call.
