Summit League Pitcher of the Year Payton Kinney turned in another sterling performance on the mound for Omaha and it led the Mavericks to their first Summit League Baseball Championship Saturday as they defeated Oral Roberts 4-0 in a winner take all game.

The Golden Eagles forced that earlier in the day when freshman Trey Wolf tossed his own gem, allowing just six hits in his first career shutout during a 6-0 victory for ORU, who kept their hopes alive for a fifth-straight postseason title.
