Yohan Pino, a veteran of ten minor league seasons,  will make his major league debut on the mound for the Twins Thursday against the White Sox.

The 30-year-old right hander will become the oldest rookie starting pitcher in franchise history.

Pino has had a great start to the season at Rochester, posting a 9-1 record and 1.92 earned run average.

He will take the spot of Samuel Deduno in the rotation. Deduno is headed for the bullpen and the Twins will make a roster move before Thursday’s game.
