Oil Groups Looking At Suing Over RFS Delays

Oil groups including the American Petroleum Institute and American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers are looking at filing a lawsuit against EPA. API’s Bob Greco says it’s in response to the agency’s failure to get out 2015 renewable fuel volume obligations on time.
Greco says the main aim is to get EPA to get out the standards that they’re suppose to release. He’s hoping the court will see that necessity.
Greco says the whole situation underscores the fact the RFS is a badly broken system that needs to be reworked or thrown out.
