The capitol shuffle is underway in Pierre, as newly elected officials move in, and others change offices.
One of those moving down the hall is state Auditor Steve Barnett who will become Secretary of State early next year.
He says much of the staff is also on the move…
Barnett says they are trying to work out staffing and budget details..
Barnett says while the move is underway, they also have to keep the office operating…
Current state Treasurer Rich Sattgast will be moving into the Auditors office, while Josh Haeder will start his new job as state Treasurer.
