The South Dakota Office of School and Public Lands ended the fiscal year on a positive note. Deputy Commissioner, Ryan Brunner, says that as of June 30th, the office had increased their revenues that are returned to public schools.
The office saw increases in all three management categories.
Brunner says that while the number of oil investments hasn’t grown, the value of those investments are rising in value.
He is very optimistic about the upcoming year in terms of being able to continue managing investments for the improvement of South Dakota schools.
