Both #1 seeds were beaten in Monday’s Northern Sun Conference women’s basketball tourney while both #1 seeds advanced to the title game in the men’s bracket.
It will be #3 seed Augustana against #2 seed Sioux Falls in Tuesday’s women’s final at 7:30. Augustana topped Winona State 85-84 in overtime after Sioux Falls eliminated Northern State 71-63.
Augustana and Minnesota Moorhead advanced to the men’s final as expected. Augie rolled past Winona State 83-62 after Moorhead blasted University of Mary 89-65. The men’s final tips off at 5 p.m.
