There were mixed results for the Northern Sun Conference softball teams at the central regional Thursday.

Minnesota State scored a 1-0 win over Northwest Missouri State while Minnesota Duluth fell 5-2 to Missouri Western State and Upper Iowa dropped a 6-0 contest to top seeded Arkansas Tech.

All three teams will be in action again on Friday in the double elimination tournaments.
