The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced the 2017 NSIC Baseball Tournament bracket on Saturday.

The top eight teams in the final regular-season standings earned a bid to the NSIC Tournament. The double-elimination tournament will begin at noon on Wednesday, May 10 and run through Saturday, May 13 at Joe Faber Field and Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud, Minn.

Minnesota State (40-9, 35-5 NSIC) earned the No. 1 seed after winning the NSIC regular season title. They are followed by No. 2 Augustana(35-20, 29-11), No. 3 St. Cloud State (36-14, 27-11 NSIC), No. 4 Wayne State (28-22, 23-15 NSIC), No. 5 Minot State (28-20, 23-17 NSIC), No. 6 Minnesota Duluth (23-26, 18-19 NSIC), No. 7 Concordia-St. Paul (23-24, 17-18 NSIC) and No. 8 Minnesota Crookston (24-26, 18-20 NSIC).

The winner of an eight-team postseason conference tournament will represent the NSIC as their automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament
