Augustana women’s basketball senior Shaunteva Ashley was named the Player of the Month in November by the Women Division II Bulletin.
Ashley becomes the first player to earn the award in team history. The Sioux Falls, S.D. native has gotten her senior campaign off to a great start, leading the Vikings to a 6-2 record through the November portion of its schedule. She posted six games with at least 23 points scored.
Another Augustana basketball player, Daniel Jansen, has been named the Northern Sun Conference men’s Player of the Week. Wayne State’s Jordan Spencer has earned women’s Player of the Week honors.
