The favorites held serve in the Northern Sun Conference men’s basketball tourney Saturday, but upsets were the order of the day Sunday in the women’s event.

Semifinal round games are on tap Monday in Sioux Falls.

Top seeds Northern State and Southwest Minnesota State won their games along with #2 seeds Minnesota Mankato and St. Cloud State in men’s action.

Women’s top seed Augustana won Sunday but the other #1 Northern State lost along with #2 seeds Wayne State and Minnesota Moorhead.
