The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) announced its 2017 Hall of Fame Inductees at its Hall of Fame banquet, which was held Tuesday, July 11 at the Best Western Premier in Burnsville, Minnesota.

The class of 2017 included: Kristen (Schmidt) Soukup, Concordia University, St. Paul; Louis “Nicky” Johnson Jr., University of Minnesota Duluth; Brett Beeson, Minnesota State University Moorhead and Butch Raymond, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Commissioner Erin Lind presented Upper Iowa University Director of Athletics David Miller with the league’s 2016-17 Sportsmanship Award at the NSIC’s Annual Hall of Fame banquet. This marks the second consecutive year the Peacocks have taken home the honor.
