Presley O’Farrell, a senior guard for the Augustana women’s basketball team, has been named the NSIC South Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
The Summit, S.D. native averaged 14 points, eight rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in wins over Minot State and UMary over the weekend at the Sioux Falls Arena. O’Farrell scored 12 points, corralled six rebounds, dished out six assists, snagged four steals and tallied one black in the Vikings 83-52 win over Minot State on Friday night.
O’Farrell averages 12.9 points and 5 rebounds per game and is one of four Vikings averaging 10 or more points a contest this season.
