The NSIC has announced adjustments to the 2016 NSIC Softball Tournament Bracket as poor weather is forecasted in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The bracket will be adjusted for games played on Friday and Saturday.  Game 16, originally scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m., will be moved to Friday at 4 p.m. on field B at Sherman Park.  Games 17 and 18 on Saturday will then move up to 10 a.m. and noon with the “if necessary” game scheduled for 2 p.m.  If games are not playable on Saturday, the games would move to Sunday.

The 2016 NSIC Softball Tournament will feature the top ten teams in the final regular season standings participating in the double-elimination tournament, which will be held at Sherman Park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Minnesota State earned the number one seed after winning the NSIC Regular Season Championship with their 23-6 league record.
