The Natural Resources Conservation Service is holding its State Technical Committee meeting in Pierre next week. State conservationist, Jeff Zimprich, says the meeting will highlight the busy year 2014 was for their programs.

Zimprich says the interest in their programs was high last year, and anyone is encouraged to attend the meeting to learn about the conservation programs and funding available in the coming year.

He says that the new farm bill has changed some program plans that producers should be aware of.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the AmericInn Hotel in Ft. Pierre on November 13th at 10:00 am. Zimprich says there is no registration required to attend.
