USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service is now requiring a new form for producers or landowners enrolling in either the Conservation Stewardship or Environmental Quality Incentives programs. NRCS District Conservationist Dan Mehlhaff in the Yankton office says the form is used to determine eligibility and is simple to fill out.
He says the reason the form is now being required is to make sure only those deserving the program payments receive them.
Mehlhaff says the response to this new requirement has been good so far.
Mehlhaff says the CCC 902 forms are available at the county Farm Service Agency office which is located across the hall from the NRCS office.
