NPPC Wants Administration To Join CPTPP Trade Deal

One of the top trade priorities of the National Pork Producers Council is re-engaging with the TPP countries and getting the US.. to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership. Maria Zieba is Assistant Vice President for International Affairs for NPPC.

She says the U.S. needs to be in the agreement in order to get better access for those markets.

She says the U.S. must get serious about joining the CTPPP as several of our market competitors are looking for the same thing.

Today, NPPC’s Vice President and Counsel for Global Government Affairs Nick Giordano is promoting U.S. participation in the CPTPP during a panel hosted by the Global Business Dialogue..
