Northwestern’s men hold an 11 stroke lead as 54 holes in the 2016-17 Great Plains Athletic Conferecne (GPAC) Men’s Golf Championships are now complete.
Rounds two and three were played Monday in Eagle, Nebraska, at Woodland Hills.
The Red Raiders now have a 54 hole total of 918 and lead second place Morningside who sits at 929. Dakota Wesleyan is in third with 930.
In the medalist race Collin Tedesco from Hastings shot rounds of 75, 82 for a 54 hole total of 224. He holds a three stroke lead on Corey Mathey from Morningside who has a 54 hole total of 227. Evan Schuler from Northwestern in in third with a 228.
Round four will start at 9am on Tuesday morning with tee times at Woodland Hills.
Monday’s temperatures were in the mid 70’s with winds of 20-30 mph, and gusts of up to 40 mph.
The 2016-17 GPAC Golf Championships are being played on neutral courses. The first 18 holes were played in the fall at Willow Run in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
