Northwestern Energy has announced their goal of hitting net zero carbon emissions by the year 2050.

Spokesperson Jo Dee Black says they have been moving in that direction for some time….

Black says they will switch to renewable resources and maintain twenty four seven reliable electric service….

Black says they have set the long time line to take advantage of changes in technology…..

Their natural gas facilities also plan to reduce methane emissions to net zero by 2050.
